This is the moment that theatre changes forever…
This is the moment that we begin to create something new, something different and exciting, something unique to these changing and uncertain times. Across the nation, and even the world, the lights of vibrant theatre communities have dimmed, perhaps forever. Theatre unites us to a collective history, it gives us narration where we can connect, be seen, and for this moment in time, be a part of something bigger than ourselves. There will always be theatre; however, it too will shift to the new demands of a post-pandemic culture. In the midst of chaos, there lies hope in the form of creation. The debut theatre company, This Moment Productions, redefines creativity for the virtual audience.
This Moment Productions was founded by two artists with a shared passion to make the arts more inclusive, equitable, and diverse by utilizing quality virtual viewing and performance options to unite global patrons.
Vision
To redefine the traditional concept of theatre and reimagine how it is consumed.
Innovation
Plays designed for the streaming venue, made accessible to audiences around the world.
Mission
Our mission is threefold:
First, to produce virtual theatre experiences that are seamless for the audience.
Second, to create and foster original material that is relevant and timely.
Third, to lead the way in adapting the arts to a new and virtual venue.
This Moment Productions plans to offer virtual streaming theatre, education and enrichment programs for communities around the world.
In the upcoming months, we have two shows scheduled for production, and submissions are now open for our One Act Streaming Play Festival. This Festival will feature 8 original one acts designed to be performed in a virtual space.
Keep an eye for future offerings, such as children’s classes and performances, webinars with experts, and of course, even more original and unique virtual streaming theatre.
